This module contains the required activities for the week which are listed below. You will also find the Powerpoint lecture converted to PDF file. You can chose to have 1, 2 or 3 slides per page. It depends on how large you want the text and how many pages you want to look through. If there are any animations or links mentioned in the lecture outline they are included below the lectures.

There are also extra links included to help explain the lecture topics or provide more information. Feel free to take a look through them and hopefully they help with the topics being covered.

***The PowerPoint lecture files are there to provide an outline of the material that is being covered. If there are topics (or portions of topics) that are not included in the lecture outline or the links then that material is not being covered.

REQUIRED: 

• Complete Practice Assignment (found in same folder as this page)   
• Go through Week 1 Lectures and use book as reference.
• Participate in the Welcome discussion -- 5pts. (found in same folder as this page) (the guidelines for discussions is under the 'syllabus / policies' link in the left menu) ****Reminder- you need to post and then post at least two responses to other classmates****
• Complete homework assignment for week 1 (found in same folder as this page) -- (not due until later in the 2nd week).
• Complete the first lab (not due until later in the 2nd week).
